In preparation for the holiday season, we are now offering free shipping on orders of $75 or more!  Give the gift of Jam this holiday season or serve with meat and cheese to impress the taste buds of your loved ones at gatherings. 

Cooking a turkey?  Smother it it in our Balsamic Fresh Fig beforehand to give it a figgy glaze or use our Plum Fig and Cherry Mostarda to make the perfect left-over turkey sandwiches. 

Do you prefer ham for the holiday?  Our Citrus and Smoked Salt marmalade makes for a delicious addition to ham with its spicy and tangy sweetness.

Sparkling Nectarine April 23 2015

We are happy to announce that our newest flavor is now available!

 

The perfect companion for any occasion, our Sparkling Nectarine carries a light, floral flavor with bubbly crispness. Salmon pink in color, this jam will brighten up any picnic basket or add a little sunshine to your morning fare. We use plump organic nectarines with bubbly prosecco and Washington state Riesling. The addition of pink peppercorns and fresh basil creates the aroma of a fruit orchard on a breezy late summer day.

This jam makes a perfect companion for a boozy brunch with powder sugared french toast, or paired with brie on a fluffy croissant. A dollop with rice wine vinegar will create a sparkling dressing for a baby greens salad with candied pecans, and consider mixing into a bubbly champagne cocktail.

Get Ready To Feast! September 15 2014

Feast PDX

Here at Three Little Figs, we are gearing up for this year's Feast Portland! Feast is the Northwest's flagship food festival, hosted by Bon Appétit as a celebration of Oregon's bounty. Although it is only in it's third year running, Feast is a well oiled machine that has already gained a fair amount of national attention. Join us at "the best food festival in the country" this Friday and Saturday so that you may experience the magic of Portland's culinary creativity. We will be serving snacks from noon to 5pm at Pioneer Courthouse Square during Feast's Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting on Friday and Saturday. Come munch your way to our booth and taste our small batch goodness among the stars at Feast.

Revving Up May 20 2014

It’s about that time here at Three Little Figs! The time of year where the sun starts to shine on the ripening fruit and the sweet and savory smells of jam waft through our Northeast Portland neighborhood. We are revving up to start cooking again after a short hiatus in which we were working on kitchen upgrades, recipe development, and of course - new dance moves.

Over the past few months we have been visiting with our farmers and planning ahead for this year’s jam line. As a company that sources nearly all of its ingredients from local and organic family farms we tend to be dependent on the unpredictable seasons, temperatures, and rainfall of our Pacific Northwest home. Although it is sometimes uncertain when the season will come to full swing we are excited to say that the time is finally here!

So if you find yourself stumbling through Northeast Portland this summer, following your nose to a heavenly aroma of the sweet and savory; you may be just around the corner from where we turn ripe fruit into small batch goodness.
